Milo, Wings raising money for Wounded Veterans Foundation Saturday

The Rochester Red Wings have teamed up with Milo, the goodest boy and world's best bat dog, to raise money for the Wounded Veterans Foundation (WVF) as part of Military Appreciation Night at Frontier Field this Saturday, July 13.

As previously announced, Milo will serve as the Red Wings Bat Dog on Saturday. The Red Wings will donate $25 to the WVF for every bat that Milo retrieves during the game. Fans can pledge a dollar amount per retrieval as well at a table set up in the main breezeway. ALL fans who donate will have a chance to meet the Red Wings Bat Dog toward the end of the game on Saturday. Milo will work innings 1-6, then head to the Red Wings Hall of Fame to get pets from all the fans who donated. 
The Wings will also be selling a Milo T-shirt beginning on Saturday. For every shirt purchased, $7 will be donated to the WVF. You can purchase online or in-store beginning Saturday. 

All veterans or active military members can receive free tickets to Military Appreciation Night. The free tickets can only be received in advance at the Veterans Outreach Center at 447 South Avenue in Rochester. 
Saturday's game also features a post-game concert from the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and a fireworks show presented ESL Federal Credit Union. 
The Wounded Veterans Foundation currently spans across 30 states to assist as many veterans effected by their service as possible. The foundation assists veterans via their Housing Department, Service Dog Department, and H.E.L.P Program. With these programs they directly help veterans on a daily basis.
