(June 7, 2017) - The Fort Myers Miracle, Advanced-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, are home at historic Hammond Stadium for an eight-game homestand against the Tampa Yankees, Advanced-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, Thursday, June 8 through Saturday, June 10, and the Charlotte Stone Crabs, Advanced-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, Monday, June 12 through Thursday, June 15. Entering June and into the summer, remember that all weekday night (Monday through Friday) games move from 6:35pm to 7:05pm.
Thursday, June 8 (5:30 pm)
On Thirsty Thursday, the two teams will partake in a doubleheader, two seven-inning games, beginning at 5:30 PM ET. Take advantage of half-price domestic draft beer during every Thursday home game presented by Budweiser, Ink City Tattoo and iHeartMedia.
Friday, June 9 (7:05 pm)
Friday FIREWORKS are back at Hammond Stadium and it is Star Wars Night! Head out to the ballpark and enjoy Star Wars clips, interactive games and the opportunity for prizes. Also, enjoy a spectacular FIREWORKS display set to Star Wars music produced by Zambelli Fireworks after the game sponsored by Beasley Media and FOX 4. Additionally, the Miracle will sport their celebratory "Faux-back" 1970's inspired caps for every Friday home game.
Saturday, June 10 (6:05 pm)
This week's 25th Anniversary Celebration Saturday features an appearance from The Hanson Brothers sponsored by Dr. David Eichten from Joint Implant Surgeons and Beasley Media. The famed stars of the movie Slapshot will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures celebrating the 40th anniversary of the classic hockey film. The Miracle will wear special Charlestown Chiefs-inspired jerseys for the game. The jerseys will be available for fans to bid on in a silent auction from gates opening until the top of the 7th inning. All proceeds from the Miracle/Chiefs jersey auction will benefit the Stan and Haney D.R.A.F.T. (Direct Relief and Assistance of Florida Troops) Fund.
