Harrisburg, PA - The Harrisburg Senators (43-60) countered a two-run eighth by Portland by scoring twice off Trevor Kelley (0-1), defeating the Sea Dogs (47-55), 4-3, Thursday night at FNB Field. Portland has lost three straight to Harrisburg and drops to 2-2 on their seven-game roadtrip.

Harrisburg, PA - The Harrisburg Senators (43-60) countered a two-run eighth by Portland by scoring twice off Trevor Kelley (0-1), defeating the Sea Dogs (47-55), 4-3, Thursday night at FNB Field. Portland has lost three straight to Harrisburg and drops to 2-2 on their seven-game roadtrip.

Trailing 2-1 entering top of the eighth inning, Portland took 3-2 lead off Derek Self (W, 2-2). Joseph Monge (2-for-3, 2B) tied the game with a solo-homer (#2) to left-center field. Cole Sturgeon (2-for-4) doubled an scored on a double by Michael Chavis.
In Harrisburg's eighth inning, they put together three straight one-out singles to tie the game 3-3. Yadiel Hernandez (2-for-3, 2 RBI) delivered the game-winning RBI with a sacrifice fly off Bobby Poyner.
Andrew Robinson pitched the ninth, working around a two-out single by Josh Tobias to earn his fourth save of the season.
Teddy Stankiewicz (ND) was outstanding for Portland, earning his 10th quality start of the year. Stankiewicz pitched six innings on two runs, seven hits, two walks and fanned six. Harrisburg's Austin Voth (ND) left the game with the lead, tossing six innings on one run, five hits and six strikeouts.
The Sea Dogs and Harrisburg Senators (Nationals affiliate) continue their four-game series on Friday night at FNB Field. LHP Dedgar Jimenez (1-0, 1.80) makes his second Double-A start for Portland. RHP Taylor Hill gets the start for Harrisburg. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
