New York Giants LT Andrew Thomas To Appear At 8/29 Somerset Patriots Game

Bridgewater, New Jersey – The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, have announced that New York Giants LT Andrew Thomas is scheduled to appear at the Thursday, August 29 game at TD Bank Ballpark courtesy of Monmouth Cards. Bridgewater, New Jersey – The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, have announced that New York Giants LT Andrew Thomas is scheduled to appear at the Thursday, August 29 game at TD Bank Ballpark courtesy of Monmouth Cards. The Patriots take on the Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies) in a continuation of Wednesday night's suspended game at 4:30 pm. The regularly scheduled game will follow and now be seven innnings.

Thomas will throw out a ceremonial first and then sign autographs and take pictures at the Monmouth Cards table located on the main concourse. Prices will be $30 for autographs, $20 for pictures and $50 for an autograph and picture combo.

Thomas was selected by the Giants in the first round (4th overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Georgia. He was the highest-drafted offensive lineman by the Giants since Ohio State’s John Hicks (3rd overall in 1974).

Thomas has played in 55 regular season games with 54 starts. He was a Second-Team All-Pro in 2022 and started both postseason games at left tackle in the NFC Wild Card Game at Minnesota (1/15/22) and Divisional Round at Philadelphia (1/21/22).

On 7/26/23, Thomas signed a five-year $117.5 million contract extension with the Giants. The deal included a guaranteed $67 million at signing, which set a new NFL record for an offensive lineman.
