4th Annual Crockett Foundation Night Set for July 6th at BB&T Ballpark

(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) -- The Charlotte Knights will celebrate professional wrestling history on Saturday, July 6^th at BB&T Ballpark. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. for the 4^th Annual Crockett Foundation Night.

This year, fans will have a chance to meet Professional Wrestling Legend Nikita Koloff. A member of the NWA Hall of Fame, Koloff will be signing autographs on the concourse and will also throw out the game's ceremonial first pitch.

Over the course of his legendary career, Koloff held the NWA National Heavyweight Championship, the NWA United States Championship, and the NWA World Television Championship. Nicknamed "The Russian Nightmare", Koloff also held the NWA Six-Man Tag Team Championship four times and the NWA Tag-Team Championship two times. He was inducted into the NWA Hall of Fame in 2008.
