The GreenJackets will turn to Keaton Winn in the 2nd game of the series with Lexington. Winn this year has consistently given the GreenJackets a chance to win. The right-hander has 52 strikeouts to only 14 walks for 2019, and he leads the team with 70.2 innings-pitched. Winn's last start came against the Kannapolis Intimidators on June 23rd. He went 4.1 innings and allowed only two runs, despite walking a season-high four batters. Winn was drafted in the 20th round by the San Francisco Giants in 2017, but decided not to sign and he returned to Iowa Western Community College for one more season. The following year, the Giants selected him again with their 5th round selection.
Lexington will put Zach Haake on the mound. The right-hander was a 6th round draft pick out of the University of Kentucky and was a college teammate of former GreenJackets pitcher
