DAYTON, OH - Yeltsin Gudino raced in from third on a Luis Silva groundout in the eighth inning, and the Lansing Lugnuts (19-26, 56-55) captured a 4-3 victory over the Dayton Dragons (14-31, 55-60) on Tuesday night at Fifth Third Field.

The Lugnuts won three of four games in the series, finishing their seven-game road trip with a 4-3 record.

Lansing established a 3-0 lead with two runs in the fourth and one in the fifth against Dayton starter Alex Webb, only to see the Dragons tie the game in the seventh on a Jose Siri RBI infield single and a Bruce Yari two-run double. Mike Ellenbest averted further damage, relieving Andrew Deramo and - after issuing a walk - stranding the bases loaded.

Dayton called on closer Joel Kuhnel (Loss, 1-4) for the eighth inning, and Gudino greeted him with a single. Two batters later, Mattingly Romanin lashed his second double of the game, moving Gudino to third base. Silva followed with a soft grounder toward third, plating Gudino with the tie-breaking run.

Ellenbest (Win, 6-6) fired a perfect eighth with a strikeout, and Jared Carkuff (Save, 5) struck out Siri, Taylor Trammell and Yari to put the game away.

Gudino went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI, and both Romanin and Silva went 2-for-4 to lead the Lugnuts' offense. Rodrigo Orozco finished 1-for-5 with a single to extend his on-base streak to 20 games.
