Oklahoma City, OK- Catcher Joe Odom throttled his first Triple-A bomb, accounting for Tacoma's only run, but the Rainiers fell to the Oklahoma City Dodgers and were swept in the three-game series on Friday, 9-2.
Odom, transferred from Double-A Arkansas pregame, lifted his first Tacoma (52-65) blast over the right field fence in the top of the fifth that put the Rainiers on the board, 8-1. The 27-year-old made six appearances with the Rainiers in 2018, collecting three hits and 10 strikeouts.
