Odubel Herrera, Aaron Altherr to rehab with Fightin Phils in home finale
The Philadelphia Phillies have announced that Phillies outfielders Odúbel Herrera and Aaron Altherr are scheduled to begin a rehab assignment for the Fightin Phils on Thursday night. Herrera has been out since August 15th with a left hamstring strain. Altherr has been out since August 5th with a right hamstring

Herrera was hitting .287 with 36 doubles, three triples, 12 home runs 46 RBI with seven stolen bases in 113 games before being placed on the disabled list. Herrera is currently on a 17-game hitting streak that began on July 28th against Atlanta. The 25-year old outfielder is currently in his third season with the Phillies after being claimed in the Rule 5 Draft in 2014.
Altherr was hitting .285 in 87 games played with 20 doubles, four triples, 16 home runs, 49 RBI and five stolen bases before being placed on the disabled list. Altherr played for the Reading Fightin Phils in 2014 and 2015 while making a rehab appearance in 2016. Altherr hit a combined 20 home runs with 86 RBI in two full seasons for the Fightin Phils. The 26-year old outfielder was drafted by the Phillies in the 9th round of the 2009 draft.
