Storm Chasers right fielder Brett Phillips bashed two home runs in a 7-3 game one victory, while catcher Xavier Fernandez drove in four runs, including a three-run shot, in Omaha's 6-5 comeback victory to complete a doubleheader sweep of the Oklahoma City Dodgers on Monday afternoon at Werner Park.

After LF Jorge Bonifacio broke the scoreless draw in game one with an RBI single in the fourth, Phillips went deep in the fifth, a two-run blast, that extended the advantage to 3-0 before 2B Erick Mejia 's sacrifice fly made it a four-run margin after five. Phillips would later counter Oklahoma City 1B Connor Joe 's two-run homer in the sixth with a three-run opposite field blast of his own in the bottom of the frame.
Phillips (2-3, 2 R, 2 HR, 5 RBI), Bonifacio (2-3, RBI) and C Sebastian Rivero (2-3, 2 R) each posted two knocks to pace the Omaha order, while Dodgers CF Shane Peterson (2-3, R) was the only batter from his side with multiple hits. The multi-homer game was the first for Phillips since August 19, 2017, when he crushed two longballs with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox against Oklahoma City.
Storm Chasers starter Jonathan Dziedzic (5.1 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, BB, 5 K) earned his first victory of the season after yielding two runs on three hits in over five innings of work. Dodgers starter Mitchell White (4.0 IP, 5 H, R, ER, BB, 3 K) suffered the defeat in game one.
Both teams traded single tallies in the opening frame of game two, including a sacrifice fly from Bonifacio. Oklahoma City would then grab a two-run lead in the second via run-scoring knocks by 1B Connor Joe and DH Cameron Perkins. Single scores in the third and fourth frames later extended that margin to four before Omaha's comeback effort began.
Fernandez would cut the deficit to one in the fourth, smashing his first Triple-A homer, a three-run blast. Two innings later, DH Samir Duenez laced a game-tying RBI single to center before Fernandez broke the tie by driving in his fourth run courtesy of a run-scoring knock to left.
Omaha reliever Andres Machado (2.0 IP, H, BB, K) earned the after firing two shutout innings, while southpaw Richard Lovelady (1.0 IP, BB) notched his first save. Dodgers reliever Josh Sborz (1.0 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 ER, BB, K) suffered the defeat.
The two teams are set to square off again on Tuesday night, with first pitch scheduled for 6:35pm CT. RHP Josh Staumont (0-2, 3.04) is anticipated to get the ball for Omaha, with RHP Dennis Santana (0-3, 6.04) expected to start for Oklahoma City.
