Pablo Sandoval Scheduled to Play July 22-24 with the San Jose Giants at Muni

The San Francisco Giants have announced that 3B Pablo Sandoval is scheduled to join the San Jose Giants on Saturday, July 22, Sunday, July 23 and Monday, July 24 at Municipal Stadium. Sandoval was officially signed by the San Francisco Giants on a minor league deal earlier today.
Pablo Sandoval, a Homegrown Giant currently in his tenth big-league season, returns to the San Francisco organization after leaving as a free agent after the 2014 season. Sandoval played two seasons in San Jose in 2007 and 2008, and hit .315 while slugging 23 home runs in 170 games played, and helped the San Jose Giants capture a California League Championship in 2007. Sandoval last appeared in San Jose on a rehab appearance in 2013.
Pablo Sandoval released a statement through the San Francisco Giants this morning: "I have always loved and appreciated the Giants organization, my Giants teammates and the fans of San Francisco. I have so many great memories and I want to thank the organization for giving me another chance to come back here. When I left the Giants in 2014, my comments were emotional, insensitive and misguided and I truly regret and apologize for my actions. I am committed to working hard to contributing to the success of the Giants."
Sandoval, a two-time All-Star, became a fan-favorite as a key member on the 2010, 2012 and 2014 World Series Champion teams. Sandoval was named World Series MVP for his performance in the 2012 series, when he went 8-16 and slugged three home runs.
