Summary<o:p>
Nick Pasquale carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning, in what was a terrific pitching performance to lead Akron past Trenton 4-2 Wednesday at Canal Park.

Turning Point<o:p>
Bobby Bradley hit an RBI double scoring Mike Papi in the sixth inning. Catcher Eric Haase then smashed a two run homer extending the RubberDucks lead to 4-0. The three-run inning gave starting pitcher Nick Pasquale run support and a larger lead to work from. <o:p>

Winging It<o:p>
Akron starter Nick Pasquale was dominant, pitching a no-hitter through six innings. Trenton's Miguel Andújar broke up Pasquale's no-hit bid with a double in the seventh. Pasquale finished his outing with seven innings yielding only one hit and one earned run with four strikeouts and four walks. In his last two starts, he's only given up two earned runs on five hits with 13 strikeouts. The right-hander is now 2-2 with a 3.38 ERA on the season. In relief, Dylan Baker worked a scoreless eighth and David Speer came on to pick up his second save of the season in the ninth. <o:p>

Duck Tales<o:p>
Second basemen Tyler Krieger hit a leadoff solo homerun in the first inning to give the Ducks an early 1-0 lead. The Akron offense struck again in the sixth with a leadoff double by Mike Papi. Papi is Akron's hottest hitter as of late hitting .378 (14-37) with two homeruns, six RBI and five runs scored in the last ten games. Following Papi's double, Bobby Bradley drove him in with his own double in the gap. Eric Haase then broke the game open hitting his third homerun of the season in the sixth. <o:p>

Notebook<o:p>
Before Akron's three-run sixth, Trenton starter Domingo Germán had a stretch where he retired ten consecutive RubberDucks hitters with five straight strikeouts… Bobby Bradley is swinging the bat better as of late, going 4-10 in the three-game series against Trenton with one homerun and three RBI… Wednesday's game started at 10:35 a.m. due to Education Day at the ballpark… The stadium was filled with kids from local Akron schools… Time of Game: 2:18…Attendance: 6,075. <o:p>
