The Curve (58-53) picked up their first road win against the Thunder (74-37) since 2015.

Waddell worked through 4.2 innings and allowed one run on six hits with three walks and five strikeouts. He left in the bottom of the fifth with two runners on and two outs, and
Cumpton worked 1.1 scoreless innings. Avelino led off the seventh with a double and moved to third on a wild pitch with no outs, but
Maffei finished the game 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored.
