Portland Sea Dogs Statement

Portland, Maine- With Major League Baseball suspending spring training games and delaying the start of Opening Day, Minor League Baseball has announced that the start of the Minor League Baseball season will also be delayed.

The Sea Dogs are working to gather more information on how this will impact our season. We will continue to monitor this fluid situation and pass along information to our fans once it is available.

“The safety and health of our employees, fans, and players is always our top priority, stated Sea Dogs President & General Manager Geoff Iacuessa. “We remain optimistic we will have games this season and will keep fans posted.”

Tickets for any games that are impacted by this delay are eligible for a refund or two tickets to a later 2020 Sea Dogs game. As soon as we know what games may be impacted, we will let fans know their options for processing the refund or exchange.
