PITCHING MATCHUP

Tom Eshelman gets the start tonight for the IronPigs against Tyler Alexander for the Mud Hens. Today's starting pitching matchup is presented by Allentown Family Foot Care, which provides the latest in medical and surgical treatments of the entire foot and ankle. Learn more at affc.com.
Eshelman goes for his 2nd win of the season tonight at Coca-Cola Park. Eshelman took a no-hitter into the seventh inning in his last start at Coca-Cola Park but did not earn a decision. The Mud Hens are sending Alexander to the mound for his first Triple-A start tonight. He is 3-2 with a 3.75 ERA at Double-A with the Erie SeaWolves.

LAST GAME

Enyel De Los Santos (5-3) worked quickly through seven innings for Lehigh Valley, but a couple of pitches came back to burn him at the end of the night. A lead-off home run from Edwin Espinal in the third inning, and eventually another from Mike Gerber in the sixth provided most of the damage for Toledo. Dawel Lugo added a lead-off triple in the fourth inning and scored a pitch later on a Christin Stewart single. Grayson Greiner provided some insurance with an RBI single in the top off the ninth to score Jim Adduci.
Dean Anna had another productive day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI, while Adron Chambers added a double and a run scored for the Pigs.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The Mud Hens lead the season series with the Pigs 1-0. They will meet seven times, three at Coca-Cola Park and a four-game series at Toledo in July.
The Pigs and Mud Hens split the season series in 2017 going 3-3 with each teams winning two games at home. Lehigh Valley leads the all-time series 42-36.
