Allentown, Pennsylvania (September 11, 2026) – Chuck King spun six innings of one-run baseball and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (31-35, 66-75) clubbed four solo homers to down the Worcester Red Sox (36-29, 72-64) 4-1 on Friday night at Coca-Cola Park.

Scoreless through the first four frames, the WooSox broke the ice for the fourth straight game this week. After a Mx Ferguson infield single, Nate Baez ripped a double into left-centerfield to score him with the opening salvo.

Otto Kemp tattooed the first pitch of the sixth inning over the wall in left to get the ‘Pigs on the board, tying the game at 1-1. Keaton Anthony clubbed another solo homer later in the frame to put the ‘Pigs ahead.

Payton Henry and Gabriel Rincones Jr. each hit solo homers in the seventh to extend the lead to 4-1.

King (W, 10-7) exited after six innings of one-run ball as Andrew Hoffman followed with 1.1 scoreless in his ‘Pigs debut before giving way to Kirby Snead (S, 3) who closed it down by sitting down the final five with two punchouts.

Seth Martinez (L, 3-4) allowed three of the four solo homers, taking the loss for the ‘Pigs.

The ‘Pigs and WooSox continue their series on Saturday, September 12th at Coca-Cola Park with first pitch slated for 6:35 p.m. The ‘Pigs hand the ball to Drake Fellows while Worcester counters with Michael Sansone.
