Pulaski Yankees First Ever Bobble Head Giveaway

Pulaski, Virginia- The first bobble head giveaway in Pulaski Yankees history is set for Thursday, August 24^th.
The first 500 fans at Calfee Park will receive a Blake Rutherford bobble head. Rutherford hit .382 with two home runs and nine RBI in 25 games with Pulaski last season after being selected by the New York Yankees in the 1^st round of the 2016 MLB Draft.
"I just want to thank the whole (town) of Pulaski, David Hagan, all the fans for welcoming me in and allowing me to have a first great season in pro baseball," said Rutherford on his upcoming bobble head night.
Rutherford is currently hitting .280 with one homerun, 18 RBI and 9 stolen bases this year for the Single A Charleston RiverDogs, and was recently named a South Atlantic League All Star. He is ranked 32nd out of the top 100 prospects in all of minor league baseball according to MLB.com, and ranked the #3 prospect in the New York Yankees farm system.
The bobble head giveaway night coincides with "Throwback Thursday." Fans will have the chance to bid on a Pulaski Counts authentic replica jersey. The Counts called Calfee Park home in 1942 and 1946-1950. The team was an affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947 and '48.
The Bobble head giveaway on Throwback Thursday will mark one of the last special promotional nights during the 2017 season. 
Fans who wish to receive a bobble head are encouraged to arrive at Calfee Park early due to limited supply. Gates open at 5:30 with first pitch scheduled for 7pm.
