Grayson Long (3-4) took the loss despite a quality start. Long pitched a career-high seven innings, giving up three third-inning runs on four hits with six strikeouts.
Wade Wass got the BayBears (26-34) on the board with a solo home run in the bottom of the third. It was his team-high 10th of the season. Zach Houchins drove in his 10th run of the series with an RBI single in the fourth.
