Rafael Devers headed to SiriusXM Futures Game

Portland, Maine - Earlier today, Major League Baseball announced the complete rosters for the annual Futures Game, taking place on July 9th at Marlins Park in Miami. Sea Dogs 3B Rafael Devers was named to the World squad.
 

Devers is ranked the #1 overall prospect (#14overall) in the Red Sox system according to Baseball America. Yesterday, Devers was selected to the Eastern League All-Star Game.
In addition to Devers' selection, former Sea Dogs Mauricio Dubón (2016) and Yoán Moncada were named to the World Roster. Former Sea Dogs Edgar Renteria (1995) and Charles Johnson (1994-95), will manage the World Team and U.S. Team. Joining the World coaching staff is former Sea Dog Luis Castillo (1996).
 
Devers is the lone player in the Red Sox system going to the Futures game. His selection marks the 19th Sea Dog selected to the Futures Game.
