Dugas, the Wichita State alum drafted in the 16th round by Detroit during the MLB First-Year Player Draft earlier this month, joined Connecticut on Sunday after beginning his professional career with four games for Gulf Coast League Tigers West. Following a 20-minute weather delay to start the game, rainstorms appeared again in the middle of the seventh inning. Umpires Matt Whipple and Steven Rios sent both teams to their respective clubhouses and following a lengthy delay, the game was officially called.
