Monday, July 31, 7:05pm: MUSC Health Rainbows Night / Monday Dog Day - DWAC Lowcountry Retirement: The RiverDogs take a blast back in time and throw on their retro Charleston Rainbows jerseys. Put on your throwback gear and take a picture in the MUSC Health photo booth or buy an authentic Rainbows jersey at our jersey auction on the concourse or online. In partnership with Charleston PRIDE, The RiverDogs will recognize impactful individuals around the community during a pre-game ceremony. Monday Dog Days presented by Busch Light and STAR 99.7 feature $1 hotdogs and $1 beers and, of course, dogs. In partnership with Dogs with a Cause, The RiverDogs spread awareness on local, charitable organizations that help our community. This week DWAC hosts Lowcountry Retirement, an organization that helps plan your retirement and future after your career.
Tuesday, August 1, 7:05pm: Trendy Tuesday - Conspiracy Theories / Police Night: The moon landing was fake! Aliens are real! Don't mistake Charlie for Bigfoot as the Charleston RiverDogs celebrate some of the most popular conspiracy theories on another Trendy Tuesday presented by MAGIC 107.3, Landshark, and Harris Teeter. Tuesdays include our special 2-for-$20 deal where fans can enjoy two tickets and two meals (pizza, chips and a drink), as well as specials on Landshark all night long. The Joe will be one of the safest places in Charleston on Tuesday, as the Charleston Police Department joins us for the night as part of National Night Out. Charlie will be accompanied by CPD's McGruff and crime vehicles will be displayed in front of the stadium as fans enter the park.
Wednesday, August 2nd, 7:05pm: Justin Pope Hat / Peanut Free Night: The Holy City honors its pitching coach, Justin Pope, who led his stellar RiverDogs arms to a record-setting strikeout total in 2016. As part of Wardrobe Wednesday presented by 103.5 WEZL and ABC News 4, the first 1,000 lucky fans will receive a limited-edition Justin Pope ball cap. It is also Peanut-Free Night, sponsored by Charleston Allergy and Asthma, raising awareness with the RiverDogs and their fans about peanut allergies. No peanuts will be sold in the ballpark. However, circus peanuts will replace the boiled peanuts flying into the stands for the 7th inning stretch. Also, don't forget that seniors get to run the bases post-game.
Thursday, August 3rd, 7:05pm: Thirsty Thursday / Military Night #3 / Firefighter Night: On this Budweiser Thirsty Thursday presented by 95SX, the Charleston RiverDogs and Bank of America pair up to deliver a party to military personnel. On this Military Appreciation Night, fans can enjoy $1 beers in Ashley View Pub, free tickets with a military ID and jams all night long from DJ Natty Heavy. Watch out on social media for a RiverDogs VIP bracelet to beat the lines. Local firefighters come back to The Joe to compete in a thrilling tug-of-war match and crazy races on the field. Two long-standing rivals in South Carolina, RiverDogs and the Drive, battle for bragging rights as Thursday marks the continuation of the Spinx Battle of the Palmetto State through the weekend.
Friday, August 4th, 7:05pm: One-Hit Wonder Fireworks / Charleston Baseball Hall of Fame: On a night celebrating one-hit wonders, one lucky fan could be going home with $10,000, if the RiverDogs hold the Greenville Drive to one hit in the Spinx Battle of the Palmetto State. Everyone wins with Home Telecom postgame fireworks on Red Shirt Friday presented by Mix96 and Live 5 News. Fans wearing a red shirt to support the troops can get $1 off a ticket at the gate. The RiverDogs will be inducting the Charleston Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2017 during a pregame ceremony, rewarding individuals for their contributions to the community and the great game of baseball. Charlie won't be the only dog in the park this weekend, as Bush's Beans and their loyal dog, Duke, will be along for the rest of the home stand.
Saturday, August 5th, 6:05pm: It's All Been Done: An Exhaustive Celebration of MiLB Themes and Promotions: A Charleston RiverDogs Story / Post-game Helicopter Ball Drop: The Charleston RiverDogs throw on the wackiest and tackiest jerseys in the league to celebrate the overdone promotions in Minor League Baseball. Superheroes and slime, tie dye and tropical these jerseys have it all and could be yours after the game through our auction on the concourse and online. A promotional museum will be up for display for fans to see all the different (and same) promo items from around the MiLB. Fans can enjoy action-packed Saturdays Live at the Joe presented by NASH FM and Fox 24, with our final post-game Helicopter Ball Drop! A helicopter will fly over The Joe, delivering 3,000 bouncy balls from above to create an amazing spectacle for all ages. Whichever ball lands closest to home plate could make one lucky fan up to $2,000 richer. Also, Duke and Bush's Beans will be back at the ballpark for a fun-filled Saturday night at the Joe.
Sunday, August 6th, 5:05pm: Library Night / Jewish Heritage Night: Charlie T. RiverDog and Owlbert from Charleston County Public Libraries cheer on the Lowcountry's best book worms as they enter Joe Riley Park for completing their summer reading program. Those lucky kids will receive free tickets to the game and enjoy another MUSC Health Family Sunday in the Holy City. Also, as part of Jewish Heritage Night at the Joe, special kosher options will be available for purchase at the ballpark. The RiverDogs break out their Holy City pinstriped uniforms on an evening of family fun. In partnership with Y102.5, the RiverDogs offer free parking while members of the MUSC Children's Health Kids Club (12 and under) gain free admission, eat free, play pregame catch on the field, and run the bases following the game. And Bush's Beans and their mascot, Duke, will be here for the final time this season as part of Bush's weekend-long promotion at the Joe.
