Reading, PA - The Reading Fightin Phils (5-5) scored four times in the eighth inning to seal a 6-1 win from the Portland Sea Dogs (3-5) on Thursday night at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Lefty JoJo Romero (2-4) gave up one run over five innings to earn the win. Dedgar Jimenez (2-4) had a solid start in a loss. Jimenez yielded just two runs on three hits but fanned a season-high seven batters.
Alex Bohm made his debut at home and gave Reading a 2-0 lead with a two-run homer in the fourth inning. Portland responded with their lone run of the night. Luke Tendler singled and scored on a two-out double from Deiner Lopez.
Reading went to work against Kevin Levin in the eighth. The Fightins loaded the bases with nobody out, and Lenik hit back-to-back batters. Cornelius Randolph put the game away with a two-run single.
The Sea Dogs picked up ten hits, receiving multi-hit games from Joey Curletta (2-for-4), Jarren Duran (2-for-4), and Tendler (2-for-3).
Portland and the Reading Fightin Phils (Phillies affiliate) continue their four-game series on Friday night with a 7:10 PM start from FirstEnergy Stadium. RHP Denyi Reyes (2-9, 4.79) makes his 15th start of the season for Portland and Reading counters with LHP David Parkinson (6-4, 3.31).
