Kent works eight innings/Dalbec 15th homer

Reading, PA - Fightins catcher Austin Bossart clubbed a two-run, walk-off homer to give Reading (8-5) a 3-2 win over the Portland Sea Dogs (3-8) on Sunday afternoon at FirstEnergy Stadium. Reading swept the four-game series and have won 14 of 18 from the 'Dogs this season.

Reading, PA - Fightins catcher Austin Bossart clubbed a two-run, walk-off homer to give Reading (8-5) a 3-2 win over the Portland Sea Dogs (3-8) on Sunday afternoon at FirstEnergy Stadium. Reading swept the four-game series and have won 14 of 18 from the 'Dogs this season.

LHP Jonathan Hennigan (2-1) worked two scoreless and fanned three to earn the win. RHP Durbin Feltman (2-2) took the loss for Portland. Feltman retired the first two batters and walked Luke Williams on a 3-2 pitch. Bossart's homer came on a 2-2 count.
Portland starter Matthew Kent (ND) tied a career-high with eight innings pitched. Kent yielded one run on eight hits and finished with five strikeouts. 
Portland took just their second lead of the series on Bobby Dalbec's two-run homer (#15) in the third inning. Dalbec is tied with Altoona's Hunter Owen for the most homers in the Eastern League.
Reading cut the deficit to 2-1 in the fifth inning. Luke Williams led off with a double and scored on a single by Austin Bossart. Kent escaped a jam in the sixth with runners at first and third, getting Cornelius Randolph to ground into an inning-ending double play.
Portland opens up a four-game series with the Trenton Thunder (Yankees affiliate). RHP Tanner Houck (7-5, 4.00) makes his 15th start of the season for Portland and Trenton counters with RHP Deivi Garcia (4-2, 2.68).
