Reyes (2-1) turned in his best Carolina League start, allowing two runs on four hits over seven innings to earn the win. He struck out six and did not walk a batter, while the right-hander retired the final 11 batters he faced. Alvarado (10-10) surrendered seven runs (six earned) on nine hits in four innings. It was his third straight setback.
