Reifert has compiled a 2-1 record and 3.94 ERA (16.0 IP), adding three saves in four opportunities, in addition to seven walks and 31 strikeouts. The 26-year-old was placed on the Injured List on June 12, and appeared in two games with the FCL Rays as part of a minor league rehab assignment before being activated on Thursday. The right-hander was selected by the Washington Nationals in the 2024 Rule 5 Draft on December 11 before being returned to the Rays on March 18. He was originally signed by the Milwaukee Brewers as a minor league free agent in 2020 out of Central Missouri, and was acquired by Tampa Bay in a November 13, 2021 trade from Milwaukee in exchange for former Bulls infielder Mike Brosseau.

Cuevas appeared in a game earlier this season with Durham on April 13 at Buffalo, yielding a lone earned run on one hit in one frame of work. In 24 relief appearances with the Biscuits this season he has recorded a 3-2 clip and 3.76 ERA (38.1 IP), adding one save in three opportunities, along with 17 walks and 25 strikeouts. The right-hander also pitched in two contests with the Bulls during the 2024 campaign. The California native was selected by the Rays in the 12th round of the 2021 MLB Draft out of the College of Southern Nevada.

In addition, the Tampa Bay Rays announced on Thursday that right-hander Taj Bradley has been optioned to Durham from Tampa Bay, though he is not yet active per the 72-hour option rule. The Bulls' roster stands at 28 active players, in addition to outfielders Jonny DeLuca and Richie Palacios on MLB Rehab Assignments.

Durham continues their six-game homestand on Thursday evening, with first pitch scheduled for 6:35pm. Tickets for that game and all remaining 2025 home contests are available and can be purchased by clicking here.
