Round Rock Express Partner with Smokey Denmark for New Hot Dog 

ROUND ROCK, Texas – Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog! The Round Rock Express, in partnership with Smokey Denmark Sausage Company, are excited to announce the all-new Express Dog. This hickory smoked, all-beef hot dog is made fresh every week and can only be found at Dell Diamond.

“We are proud to partner with a fellow local and family-owned business to provide a fresh and authentic product like this hot dog to fans at Dell Diamond,” Express General Manager Tim Jackson said. “Smokey Denmark has specially crafted this hot dog for our ballpark and the care and detail that went into the development is evident in the delicious taste.”

Smokey Denmark is family owned and operated and has been making sausage in Central Texas for 59 years. Their USDA production facility includes a state-of-the-art automated time and temperature food safety system and their mission is to help people make memories around food. What better way than serving hot dogs at Dell Diamond?

Mostly known for their sausages, this will be the first hot dog produced by the Austin-based company.

“When someone gets a hot dog, they think it’s been frozen for months at a manufacturing facility,” President of Smokey Denmark Marlis Oliver said. “These hot dogs are made every week and are fresh for every game. Fans can only find this one-of-a-kind hot dog inside the confines of Dell Diamond.”

Express fans can find these hot dogs at storefronts throughout Dell Diamond for the remainder of the 2023 season, including on Wednesdays for $1 Hot Dogs presented by Mrs. Baird’s.
