Ray Chang played parts of four seasons for the Blue Wahoos from 2013-2016 where he became one of the all-time most popular players in franchise history.
He is now a director of operations for MLB China, where he is working with Major League Baseball's headquarters in New York to help grow the sport in Asia. He works directly with 23 Chinese players ages 12-18 in Nanjing, located on China's east course.
In his final years as a player, he traveled to China on behalf of MLB to get the program going. Chang, 35, was born in Kansas City, but both parents are from China.
Chang played 253 games for the Blue Wahoos. He retired after 12 minor league seasons and a .270 career batting average.
