James Hicks posted a sturdy start for the Hooks on Sunday, holding Frisco to one run on six hits and one walk in 5.1 innings. Hicks stranded four over the first three frames before Yeison Morrobel's lead-off double paved the way to a fourth-inning marker.
Another tough-luck loss withstanding, Hicks owns a 2.11 ERA and 1.03 WHIP over his last four starts.
Walker Janek completed a .529 series (9-for-17 with a double, two home runs, and seven RBIs) by going 3-for-5 on Sunday. Janek, who capitalized on a Yamal Encarnacion lead-off triple with an RBI single in the eighth, is batting .471 with two doubles, four homers, and 11 RBIs over his last nine games.
Jason Schiavone went 1-for-3 with a double and two walks, reaching base at least three times in each of his last four games. For the series, Schiavone batted .500 (8-for-16) with six runs, four doubles, five RBIs, four walks and three steals.
