Lee drove in another run to close the gap to two runs once again in the Fort Wayne fourth inning. However, from that point forward Quad Cities took control. Schreiber doubled home a run in the fifth and raced around to score on Lacroix's ensuing RBI single to push the margin to 7-3.
The Bandits built on their lead in both the sixth and seventh frames. In the sixth, Dennis followed a Salazar double with an RBI single. In the seventh, Lacroix plated Schreiber once again with a run-scoring single and then was allowed to touch home plate after Fort Wayne pitcher
Both Schreiber and Lacroix collected three hits in the game to pace all hitters. Lacroix added a season-high three runs batted in. Seven of the nine Bandits in the lineup tallied at least one hit and six registered multiple hits.
