Salt Lake City, UT - The fourth inning was the decisive inning Friday night as the Sacramento River Cats (36-55) scored six times en route to a 6-4 win over the Salt Lake Bees (50-42) at Smith's Ballpark in Salt Lake City.

The River Cats sent 10 men to the plate in the fourth inning, racking up six runs on just three hits as they took advantage of two walks and three Bees errors in the inning. Juniel Querecuto started the scoring, doubling home Mac Williamson for the game's first run. Jarrett Parker had another big hit in the frame, lining a two-run single to left to make it a 5-0 inning. Carlos Moncrief capped the inning with a sacrifice fly to put the River Cats up 6-0.
The offense only managed two other hits throughout the game, but the six runs were enough. Although the Bees didn't go quietly, tagging River Cats starter Tyler Beede for four runs over five innings, the bullpen made the lead hold. DJ Snelten, Tyler Rogers, and Derek Law combined for four shutout innings out of the bullpen. For Law, he picked up his third save of the season.
Game three of this four-game set features Sacramento's Chris Stratton (3-5, 5.62) against Salt Lake's RHP Daniel Wright (4-4, 7.55). First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m. (PT) and the game can be heard live on the air on ESPN 1320 and online at rivercats.com.
