Robert named Uncle Ray's CL Player of the Month for April

Before his promotion to the Double-A Birmingham Barons on April 30, Robert led the Carolina League in batting average (.453), home runs (eight), RBIs (24), on-base percentage (.512), slugging percentage (.920), OPS (1.432), triples (three), extra-base hits (16) and total bases (69). Robert, who is rated the 37th-best prospect in baseball per MLB Pipeline, racked up multiple hits in 12 of his 19 games played with Winston-Salem.
The Cuba native has now earned two Carolina League awards this season. Robert was named Carolina League Player of the Week for the period of April 4-14. During that span, he hit .475 with five homers and posted a 1.025 slugging percentage. Additionally, the Chicago White Sox named Robert the organization's April Minor League Player of the Month for his efforts in Winston-Salem.
Following an off day, Winston-Salem will begin a six-game homestand on Tuesday against the Lynchburg Hillcats. The three-game set against Lynchburg will include a Taco Tuesday, a Lowes Foods Thirsty Thursday and a Pups in the Park Night, presented by Handy and Handy Orthodontics.
After their three-game series against the Hillcats, the Dash will host a three-game set against Down East, which includes a Fireworks Friday, a Chick-fil-A Four Pack Night and live music on Saturday, and a Lowes Foods Family Sunday.
