Woodbridge, VA---The Potomac Nationals are proud to announce that CF Victor Robles  has been named to the 2017 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, where he will represent the World Team in the battle with Team USA. The game is set for Sunday, July 9th, at 4:00pm and will be broadcast on MLB

Woodbridge, VA---The Potomac Nationals are proud to announce that CF Victor Robles  has been named to the 2017 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, where he will represent the World Team in the battle with Team USA. The game is set for Sunday, July 9th, at 4:00pm and will be broadcast on MLB Network and MLB.com.
Through the first 77 games of the season for Potomac, Robles has hit .296 with seven home runs and 28 RBIs. His .296 batting average is seventh in the Carolina League, while he also sits in the top five in the league in OBP (.398) and SLG (.527). The #1 ranked prospect in the Nationals' system is fourth in the league with 19 doubles and has been hit by a pitch a league high 16 pitches.

The Nationals signed Robles out of the Dominican Republic in 2013, and his prospect stock has soared since his debut with the DSL Nationals in 2014. Currently having his best season in the Minors with a .916 OPS through 61 starts, all in the leadoff position, the 20-year-old entered the season as the top prospect in Washington's system according to both Baseball America and MLB.com. Robles also sits as the #5 prospect in all of MiLB according to MLB.com and the #9 prospect in all of Minor League Baseball according to Baseball America.
Robles is the only Nationals prospect named to the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, though he will join many 2017 Carolina League stars in the game, including OF Eloy Jiménez of Myrtle Beach (CHC), RHP Tristan McKenzie of Lynchburg (CLE), OF Corey Ray of Carolina (MIL), C Zack Collins of Winston-Salem (CWS), RHP Jonathan Hernández of Down East (TEX), and INF Yordan Alvarez of BC (HOU).
The SiriusXM All-Star Futures game will be held at Marlins Park in Miami, FL on Sunday, July 9th, at 4:00pm. Fans can watch the action on MLB Network and MLB.com.
