ROCHESTER, N.Y. -Joey Terdoslavich belted his first home run of the season, but the Rochester Red Wings rallied for a 3-2 victory in 12 innings over the Indianapolis Indians. Rehabbing Pittsburgh Pirates pitchers Josh Lindblom and Antonio Bastardo combined to throw three scoreless innings in relief.

Indianapolis (26-21) opened the scoring in the top of the second. With two outs and the bases clear, Phil Gosselin clubbed a triple to center field. Eric Wood followed and lined a single to left field to plate Gosselin.
Terdoslavich would extend the Tribe lead in the top of the fifth inning. With two outs and no one on the base paths, he launched his first home run of the season to left-center field off of Rochester starter Nik Turley. The home run doubled the Indians' lead to 2-0.
Bases on balls brought the Red Wings (21-21) closer in the bottom of the fifth. Former Tribe infielder Matt Hague singled to start the rally, and a single and two walks would follow. The final free pass forced Hague home, and it cut the lead in half, 2-1.
The Red Wings tied the game in the bottom of the ninth and forced extras. An error to start the inning allowed Zach Granite to reach, and he would later score on a sacrifice fly by Daniel Palka.
When the game moved to the bottom of the 12th, the Indians had to turn to Terdoslavich to pitch. He moved from first base to the mound and allowed a fielder's choice run batted in that ended the game off the bat of Granite.
Drew Rucinski (2-2) worked three scoreless innings out of the Rochester bullpen and earned the win. Terdoslavich (0-1) recorded two outs but received the loss on the walk-off fielder's choice.
Game three of the four-game series is set for Sunday afternoon, with the first pitch scheduled for 1:35 p.m. The Indians return to Victory Field on Tuesday evening to open up a six-game homestand.
