The Rome Braves picked up their 10th straight victory, defeating the Asheville Tourists Saturday night, 2-1 at State Mutual Stadium before 4,822 fans.

The win give the Braves their second longest win streak in team history.
Asheville scratched the scoreboard first in the first inning when Tyler Nevin hit a sacrifice fly to give the Tourists the early 1-0 lead. The Braves tied it up in the second on a run scoring single by Kevin Josephina to leave the score at 1-1. The game remained tied until Bradley Keller (1) mashed his first home-run of the season in the seventh inning to give the Braves the 2-1 lead. Keller just joined the club this afternoon from Danville. That proved to be enough as Walter Borkovich came in to pitch two scoreless innings in relief to secure the win. Joey Wentz turned in another great outing going seven innings, giving up one run on two hits with nine strikeouts.
Wentz (7-3) gets the win for Rome while Breiling Eusibio (3-2) suffers the loss for Asheville. Borkovich (1) picks up the save.
The Braves and Tourists finish their four game series tomorrow afternoon at 2p.m.
