Rome Walks Off With 8-7 Win in Extra Innings

The Suns grabbed an early lead in the first on Carter Kieboom's RBI double but Rome answered with three runs in the bottom of the inning.

Cristian Pache tripled home two and later scored on a groundout giving the Braves a 3-1 advantage. Rome made it a 4-1 game in the second on Marcus Mooney's run scoring single but Hagerstown tied it in the fourth. Jakson Reetz plated two runs with a double and Nick Banks scored on a groundout to make it a 4-4 game. The Suns broke the tie in the fifth and added another run in the eighth for the 6-4 score. The Braves regained the lead in the bottom of the inning on a sacrifice fly by Randy Ventura and Pache's two run single for the 7-6 edge but Hagerstown tied it in the ninth 7-7. 
In the tenth, Anthony Concepcion led off with a walk and one out later Mooney singled putting runners and first and second. Pache then grounded into a force out at second putting runners on the corners with two outs. Juan Yepez then hit a bouncer to short and beat the throw to first allowing Concepcion to score from third giving Rome the win.       
Oriel Caicedo (5-1) earns the victory in relief while Jordan Mills (4-1) gets the loss for Hagerstown.
