Portland, Maine- Luis Guillorme capped off a perfect night with a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning to give the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (18-11) a 6-5 win in the rubber match over the Sea Dogs (16-12) on Wednesday night at Hadlock Field.

Guillorme finished 3-for-3 with a double, walk, sac fly, and two RBIs. He delivered the game-winning RBI in the eighth after Jake Cosart (L, 1-2) walked the bases loaded.

Kyle Regnault (W, 2-0) earned the victory with 1.2 innings of scoreless relief. He allowed just one hit and fanned four. Alberto Baldonado (S, 6) closed out the game with a six-out save, striking out four in the process.

Portland took an early lead with four first inning runs off of Binghamton starter Mickey Jannis (ND). Nick Longhi drove in the game's first run with an RBI single, Rafael Devers scored on a wild pitch, then Joseph Monge and Jordan Procyshen each singled to make it 4-0.

Binghamton responded immediately with four runs in the top of the second off of Sea Dogs' starter Jacob Dahlstrand (ND). The Rumble Ponies got on the board on back-to-back sac flies by David Thompson and Dale Burdick, then later struck with singles by Guillorme and Tomás Nido to tie the game at four.

Binghamton took their first lead in the fourth inning on a bases loaded walk by Dahlstrand to Kevin Taylor. Taylor Grover then entered the game with the bases loaded and one out and induced an infield fly from Matt Oberste and a fly out from Kevin Kaczmarski to prevent any further damage in the inning.

Grover was excellent in relief, working 3.2 scoreless, hitless innings.

Portland tied things up on an RBI bloop single by Cole Sturgeon in the sixth to score Devers.
