Albuquerque, NM - The Sacramento River Cats (20-33) found themselves trailing 5-2 after just three innings, but clawed their way back to defeat the Albuquerque Isotopes (28-26) 7-5 Friday night at Isotopes Park.

The top of the lineup - Wynton Bernard, Jae-Gyun Hwang, and Ryder Jones - helped to keep the River Cats in the game, combining to go 6-for-12 with four runs scored and four RBI. Hwang hit his fifth home run of the season while driving in three, his team-leading 31st, 32nd, and 33rd RBI of the year.
It was the bottom of the lineup that pushed the River Cats over the edge though, as Chris Shaw tied things up with a two-out RBI single in the eighth. Juan Ciriaco scored the go-ahead run in the ninth inning on a perfectly executed squeeze play by pinch-hitter Juniel Querecuto.
Tomorrow, Sacramento's Chris Stratton (0-3, 6.88) looks to get his first win of the season as he faces Albuquerque's Ryan Carpenter (2-4, 5.06). First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m. (PT) and the game can be heard live online at rivercats.com and on the air on ESPN 1320 AM.
