West Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento River Cats (35-54) fell in their final game before the All-Star break 12-0 to the Tacoma Rainiers (46-43), splitting the four-game series.

Right-hander Jose Flores got the start for Sacramento and kept Tacoma in check over his five innings. The right-hander allowed three runs on four hits while holding the Rainiers to 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position. Flores, who made 24 appearances with the River Cats in 2014, fanned five batters this afternoon before giving way to the bullpen. The trouble started after he exited the game however, as the Tacoma offense tallied nine runs on ten hits over the next four innings.
First baseman Ryan Lollis was the lone bright spot at the plate for Sacramento, collecting two of the team's five hits and raising his average to .263. The shutout loss was the River Cats' sixth of the year and second this month.
The River Cats will have a three-day break for the All-Star game before traveling to Salt Lake for a four-game set beginning Thursday, July 13. Both team's starters have yet to be announced for game one. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m. (PT) and the game can be heard live on the air on ESPN 1320 and online at rivercats.com.
