Sadzeck dominates again but Hooks win in extras

FRISCO, Texas (May 19, 2017) - Connor Sadzeck delivered one of his best outings of the season Friday, but the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, came up short in a 2-1, 10-inning loss to the Corpus Christi Hooks at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
BIG MOMENTS

• Connor Sadzeck pitched eight innings of three-hit ball, surrendering one run and a walk with nine strikeouts. Sadzeck did not allow a hit after the second inning and retired 21 of the final 22 men he faced, taking a no-decision.
• Corpus Christi's Antonio Nunez homered in the top of the tenth, breaking a 1-1 tie to give the Hooks a 2-1 victory.
• Trailing 1-0 after a solo home run from Jon Singleton in the second inning, the Riders tied the game at one in the bottom of the seventh when Jose Trevino scored from third base on a wild pitch.
