San Jose Giants Homestand Preview: July 4 - July 8

San Jose, CA- The San Jose Giants return to Municipal Stadium on Wednesday, July 4 for an exciting five-game homestand through Sunday, June 8 against Los Angeles Dodgers affiliate the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Homestand highlights include an Independence Day Celebration, Nothing Night, Cartoon and Princess Night and San Jose Giants Matt Cain bobblehead giveaway. Fans will also be treated to two nights of fireworks on Wednesday, July 4 and on Friday, July 6!
The fun begins on Wednesday with a San Jose tradition, Independence Day at Municipal Stadium. Enjoy the ultimate Americana experience with baseball, barbecue, fireworks and a Stars and Stripes jersey auction. After all of the July 4^th festivities, the Giants flip the script with Nothing Night. That's right, no music, no promotions, no shenanigans, just baseball and all General Admission seating is free! Step back in time for the first ever San Jose Giants Nothing Night, Thursday July 5. Friday is Cartoon and Princess Night complete with postgame fireworks. The Giants also debut all-new San Jose Giants Mickey-Mouse-Ears caps available in the Dugout Store. On Saturday, our team celebrates three-time World Series Champion and homegrown Giant, Matt Cain with a San Jose Giants Matt Cain bobblehead giveaway. The first 1,000 fans will receive the bobblehead thanks to Ledyard Performance Food Service. Kids run the bases on Saturday and Sunday courtesy of Martinelli's.

Fourth of July Fireworks: After the final out, the night sky will light up high above historic Municipal Stadium with a sensational fireworks display.

Nothing Night:  No promotions, no music, no shenanigans, just baseball. Step back in time and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of baseball in its purest form. All General Admission seating is free!

Cartoon and Princess Night:  Princesses, Princes, Cartoon Mouse Fans and all others, come out to Municipal Stadium as the ballpark transforms into a magical kingdom of fun and entertainment. Dress as your favorite character and receive two future game tickets!
Friday Night Fireworks: Join us for our own version of Friday Night Lights at Municipal Stadium all season long with Friday Night Fireworks! Every Friday stick around after the game to watch the night sky light up over Municipal Stadium.
