Right-hander
Barlow would make his Major League debut should he appear in a game with the Royals. He becomes the third member of the 2018 Storm Chasers roster promoted to Kansas City, and would become the first to make his Major League debut with the Royals in 2018. The right-hander in 111 career minor league outings (105 starts) has tallied a 30-30 clip and 4.10 ERA (246 ER/540.0 IP), adding 509 punchouts.
Following this transaction, Omaha's current roster stands at 24 active players. A revised roster is attached.
The Storm Chasers are set to begin a seven-game homestand with a four-game set versus Memphis this evening. First pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. CT. LHP Jonathan Dziedzic (0-1, 1.64) is expected to get the nod for Omaha, with Memphis slated to counter with LHP Austin Gomber (1-0, 4.22).
Tickets are still available for that game and all remaining Storm Chasers home dates in 2018, and may be purchased at www.omahastormchasers.com/tickets as well as by calling the Werner Park Ticket Office at (402) 738-5100. To view Ticket Office hours, please click here.
