Trenton, N.J. - The Portland Sea Dogs (20-18) received seven scoreless innings from Teddy Stankiewicz and an RBI single from Nick Longhi, and defeated the Trenton Thunder (25-16), 1-0, Sunday afternoon in the series finale at Arm & Hammer Park. Portland won the final two games of the series to win the 3-game set.

Stankiewicz earned his second win of the season, giving up five hits, two walks and three strikeouts. 
 
Portland provided the lone run in the sixth inning off losing pitcher Yefry Ramírez (5-1). Tzu-Wei Lin drew a one-out walk, stole second base, and scored on Longhi's single to right field. Lin has reached base safely in 21 consecutive games - currently the longest streak in the Eastern League.
 
Yankory Pimentel worked the final two innings to secure a save in his Double-A debut. In the eighth, Pimentel fanned Jake Cave with runners at first and third to end the inning.
Portland held Trenton scoreless in 28 of 31 innings during the series. The 1-0 win was the second for the team this season - both on the road (April 30th at Reading). The Sea Dogs had four hits - all singles. Portland's 3 double plays turned, tied a season-high.
 
The Sea Dogs roadtrip swings to Manchester, New Hampshire on Monday night, opening up a four-game series with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate). RHP Travis Lakins makes his second Double-A start. RHP Conner Greene (1-3, 3.69) gets the ball for the Fisher Cats.
