Sign-Ups Now Open for Binghamton Rumble Ponies’ Play Ball Weekend

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Rumble Ponies will host a free youth baseball clinic (ages 8-14) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, at Mirabito Stadium, in conjunction with Major League Baseball’s Play Ball Weekend.

Every participant will be put through a rotation of stations, led by Rumble Ponies players, to learn how to hit, pitch, throw, and field like a professional baseball player. Every kid will get four (4) tickets to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies game against the Reading Fightin Phils (Double-A, Philadelphia Phillies) on June 6 at 6:07 p.m. All participants are invited to come and be a part of the Field of Dreams ceremony that will take place before the game.

Play Ball Weekend is an initiative by Major League Baseball, Minor League Baseball, USA Baseball, and USA Softball to grow the sports of baseball and softball. During the weekend of June 5-7, 2026, all 150 Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball teams will host events (clinics, pitch, hit, and run, or home run derby) to build young fans as life-long baseball fans. Each event is open to children of all skill sets, whether you’ve never picked up a baseball bat, or you are an All-Star on your local travel team.
