Skye Bolt 106th MLB Monster All-Time
BURLINGTON, VT --- 2015 Vermont outfielder Skye Bolt is the 106th former Lake Monster all-time to reach the Major Leagues after being promoted to the Oakland Athletics from Triple-A on Friday and will be in uniform for the A's as they open a three-game series in Pittsburgh against the Pirates.

Oakland's fourth-round pick out of the University of North Carolina in the 2015 draft, Bolt began his professional career with the Lake Monsters that summer. The switch-hitter batted .238 with 26 runs, 10 doubles, four homers and 19 RBI in 52 games for Vermont. After playing with single-A Beloit in 2016, Bolt hit 15 home runs for High Single-A Stockton in 2017 before hitting a combined 19 home runs for Stockton and Double-A Midland in 2018.
Before his promotion to Oakland, Bolt was hitting .325 with 22 runs, eight doubles, six homers and 27 RBI in 22 games for Triple-A Las Vegas. Four of the six home runs came over a three-game stretch April 26-28.
Bolt is the 21st former Lake Monster on a MLB roster this season and he joins Baltimore shortstop
