BELOIT, WI – Welcome Home.

When opening day rolls around on May 11, 2021, it will have been 610 days since anyone last touched the dirt at Pohlman Field. 610 days since fans could cheer on their hometown team. That changes in just over two weeks.

Several weeks ago, the Beloit Snappers made an announcement that fans are coming home to both Pohlman Field and the new downtown stadium opening this summer. Today, the excitement builds as single game tickets will go on sale next week and fans will once again be able to cheer on the Snappers as they make the jump from Low-A to High-A in a brand-new organization.

“I want to jump into the Rock River; I am that excited to welcome fans home,” Ticket and Box Office Manager Phillip Masterson said. “We’ve been approved for 33 percent capacity to begin the season and we are continuing to work with MILB and MLB as the situation changes and adapt to new information.”

The Snappers will enter their first year in the Miami Marlins organization. Coupled with the affiliate promotion, this is the highest level of baseball Beloit has ever seen. Miami has the fourth-ranked farm system in MLB according to MLB.com which means Beloit will see top-ranked prospects start their career on the road to the show.

2021 will also be the final season at Pohlman Field and it will serve as the Farewell Season for the Snappers. This is the last chance to catch a Snappers game before they rebrand in the 2021 offseason. Fans have been itching to get back to the action and see the Snappers before it’s too late. Now they can.

Single game tickets will be released on a month-to-month schedule as capacities and COVID-19 protocols change. Tickets for the month of May (the first two homestands) will be available starting the week of April 26. They can be purchased online starting Tuesday, April 27 at 1:00 pm central time. The Snappers are also giving fans the option to buy tickets in person at the front office starting Monday, April 26 at 1:00 pm central time. Purchasing tickets from our front office will give fans an exclusive 24-hour advantage on any single game ticket in May.

Baseball is back, and the Snappers couldn’t be more excited to welcome you home.
