Allen (Al) Hanton is currently an employee of the Production Department with the South Bend Cubs. He will be entering his eighth season with the South Bend Cubs. Al is a native of Detroit, Michigan and has lived 9 states, mostly in the Midwest. He and his wife, Karen, have two daughters that keep them busy watching their sporting events - when not at Four Winds Field.

What do you currently do for the South Bend Cubs? I am part of the Production Crew. On game day, my main assignments are operating a camera or directing the telecast on MiLB.tv.
What do you enjoy most about being a Cubs employee? I like most meeting new friends, learning new things and watching baseball.
What do you do for work outside of being a Cubs employee? I am a custodian for Bethany Christian Schools in Goshen and a freelance media content producer.
