CUBBIE CORNER SPOTLIGHT: Casey McDonald
Casey McDonald is entering her 4th season as a Cubs employee and is a part of our Production Department! She grew up in Plymouth, Indiana, and graduated in 2013 before earning her Bachelor's from Indiana University South Bend in 2018 in Electronic Media/Communications as well as a minor in Theatre/Dance!
Casey McDonald is entering her 4th season as a Cubs employee and is a part of our Production Department! She grew up in Plymouth, Indiana, and graduated in 2013 before earning her Bachelor's from Indiana University South Bend in 2018 in Electronic Media/Communications as well as a minor in Theatre/Dance! She's the oldest of three girls, and also has three step-brothers and one step-sister. She loves meeting every person that walks through our gates as much as she loves the Cubs (and that's A LOT!)
What do you currently do for the South Bend Cubs?
If I'm not hiding in a camera well for our crazy production department helping put on an amazing show, you can usually spot me all around the ballpark wandering with a camera taking pictures of all the fun!
What do you enjoy most about being a Cubs employee?
The atmosphere of being at Four Winds Field on Game Day is unlike anything else! Everyday I get to meet every single person who walks through our gates & make new friends! I love capturing the memories & especially make someone's SB Cubs experience remarkable! And hey, how many people can say your friends and family can/love hanging out at your work?
What do you do for work outside of being a Cubs employee?
When I'm not scheduling events for my own photography business, you can find me with Indiana University South Bend Athletics as a photographer as well as the social media respondent during game day's & other events for all of our teams.
