CUBBIE CORNER SPOTLIGHT: Kyle Cavanaugh

The 2020 season will be Kyle's first season with the South Bend Cubs and first in professional baseball. Prior to joining the Cubs, Kyle worked as a sales representative at Michigan International Speedway.

Kyle is a native of Granger, Indiana and graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, going to sporting events, and working out. Kyle's favorite teams are all from Chicago (Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, and Cubs).
What do you currently do for the South Bend Cubs? 
As an Account Executive I present our Business Development Program to local businesses in the area. Along with that I with groups to plan and execute successful outings throughout the season.
Why were you drawn to this organization?
Working for the South Bend Cubs gave me a chance to move back to my hometown. The staff was very welcoming when I visited the stadium and I was blown away by the facilities and everything Four Winds Field has to offer guests. 
What do you do for fun outside of work?
I enjoy going to the gym, playing video games, and watching other sporting events.
What are you most looking forward to this season?
I'm most looking forward to our July 3rd game for our Friday Fireworks to celebrate my favorite holiday, Independence Day.
