Springfield tops Arkansas in extras for third-straight win

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Cardinals topped the Arkansas Travelers for a third-straight night with a 3-2 win in 10 innings on Thursday night at Dickey-Stephens Park.

Josiah Ragsdale drove home the go-ahead run in the 10th inning with a sacrifice fly to score Zach Levenson.

Chen-Wei Lin pitched a scoreless 10th inning to wrap up his fourth win of the season. He totaled four scoreless innings out of the bullpen.

Tanner Franklin went a career-high six innings in his third Double-A start. He allowed two runs and struck out eight.

Rainiel Rodriguez blasted a solo home run in the third inning, and Deniel Ortiz picked up a run with a RBI-double.

NOTES:
• Rodriguez extended his hitting streak to 12 games with his home run.
• Ortiz extended his streak to 13 games, one shy of the longest for the Cardinals this season.
