Shelby Fabian is currently a ticket taker with the IronPigs. She will be entering her eighth season with the team in 2020. Shelby is a native of Northampton, Pennsylvania and graduated from Northampton High School. She's a 2016 graduate of Lehigh University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Her parents have been season-ticket holders for the past five years! Shelby is the feature of this week's edition of IronPigs "Staff Spotlight."
What do you currently do for the IronPigs?
I currently work as a ticket taker at the East Gate (main entrance) of the ballpark. Prior to being a ticket taker, I was a concourse attendant for a couple of seasons.
What do you enjoy most about being an IronPigs employee?
I love seeing fans and talking to fans and season ticket holders. I love to make friends with them and truly getting to know them.
What do you do for work outside of being an IronPigs employee?
I work as a Mechanical Engineer in Bethlehem for Snyder Hoffman Associates, Inc. I've been with them for two-and-a-half years. I work with local schools regarding their heat and air conditioning!
What is your favorite thing about the IronPigs and/or Coca-Cola Park?
It's a really cool family environment! It's truly something for everyone.
